E-Commerce Solution Turning a Traditional Business into a Digital Sales Engine

The company for which we developed a custom software solution has been selling and distributing fastening materials for over 30 years, meeting customers' needs in agriculture, utility sectors, the electrical engineering industry, the automotive industry, and even the nuclear industry.

The main goal was to develop a fully functional e-commerce store integrated with the company’s inventory management system and the stock of its primary supplier. This expanded the product offering for customers and streamlines internal business processes.

Moving online allows the company to reach a wider customer base, offer 24/7 availability, and improve the shopping experience through real-time stock updates.

We created a fully functional online store featuring a wide range of products visitors can easily search, explore in detail, and check real-time availability for each item. We supported the client in organizing their product portfolio by setting up a clear and effective categorization, enabling customers to navigate the store effortlessly and make quick purchases directly through the e-shop.

At the start of the project, we sat down with the client to analyze all their requirements and, based on that, defined the digital product. We designed the solution architecture, identifying what would be technically needed to meet the needs of the client’s customers. Once approved, we moved on to the UX/UI design of the online store, carried out full development, fine-tuned the e-commerce solution down to the last detail, and thoroughly tested it before launch. We successfully launched the online store and continued operating it for a period of time, providing full support and maintenance services.
